A Brief Poetical Interlude

Greetings from the Dale! We have, alas, not made any new videos as of yet, but we do intend to acquire some batteries for the camera and kick off a new series shortly. In the meantime, Walter suggested I share a bit of song I've been writing. The first verse and the chorus I wrote about a week and a half before our arrival at school (if my memory holds true), and the latter two verses came into being in the last few days. I anticipate further additions as the year progresses. (If you've read this already on Facebook, feel free to leave a comment telling me how boring and repetitive I am.) --Emily

Hillsdale beckons
My train of thought reckons
It will be days before I'm there

Some watch Doctor Who
And Firefly too
And Legend of Korra will be there

Fencing and fighting
Torture, revenge
Captures, escapes and much more

One more weekend
And then I shall spend
Months missing family and more

The weekend seems close to me
